Privacy policy

Netwrk is a personal tool, not a social network. You add people you know, log the times you interact with them, and the app reminds you who you have not spoken to in a while.

Almost everything you enter stays on your phone. We collect the minimum needed to run the service, and we tell you plainly below what that is.

There are three kinds of information involved, and they are treated differently.

• Data you enter about people — names, companies, roles, locations, birthdays, notes, interaction history, tasks and reminders. This is stored locally on your device.
• Your account details — the email address you sign up with, and, if you subscribe, a payment reference held by our payment processor. We never see your card number.
• Diagnostics — crash reports and anonymous usage counts (for example, “voice capture used”), which contain no names, notes or contact details. You can turn these off in Settings.

If you choose to import contacts, the app reads your address book on the device to let you pick who to add. Only the people you actually select are saved into Netwrk. The rest are not stored, uploaded or remembered.

You can revoke contacts permission in your operating system settings at any time. Netwrk keeps working; you simply add people by hand or by voice instead.

Voice capture turns what you say into a note, and picks out names, companies and follow-ups. Where the device supports on-device speech recognition, the audio never leaves your phone.

If on-device recognition is unavailable and you opt in to cloud transcription, the audio is sent to a transcription provider, converted to text, and deleted immediately after. It is never used to train models. You can disable cloud transcription entirely, in which case voice capture only works offline.

Recordings are not kept. Once a note is created, the audio is discarded.

Sync is optional and off until you turn it on. When enabled, your data is encrypted on your device before it is uploaded, so the backup is unreadable to us. Turning sync off deletes the copy from our servers.

To provide the app: showing your people, working out who is drifting, and firing your reminders. To keep your account working and answer your support messages. To find and fix crashes.

That is the whole list. We do not build advertising profiles, we do not analyse your notes to sell you anything, and we do not use your data to train machine-learning models.

No one buys your data, because we do not sell it. A small number of service providers process limited data on our behalf under contract, and only for the purpose named:

• App distribution and payments — Apple and Google, for downloads and subscriptions.
• Crash and diagnostics reporting — anonymous technical data only.
• Cloud transcription — only if you opt in, and only for the seconds it takes to transcribe.

We may disclose information if legally compelled to, and will tell you unless prohibited by law.

Data on your device stays until you delete it or remove the app. Deleting the app removes the local database.

Account records are deleted within 30 days of you closing your account. Anonymous diagnostics are kept for up to 12 months and cannot be traced back to you.

Wherever you live, you can export your data from Settings in a readable format, and delete all of it from the same screen. If you are in the UK, EU or a jurisdiction with comparable law, you also have the right to access, correct, restrict or object to our processing, and to lodge a complaint with your data protection authority.

Netwrk is not designed for and should not be used by anyone under 16. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.

If this policy changes in a way that materially affects you, we will tell you in the app before the change takes effect, not quietly in a footer. The date at the top of this page always shows the current version.
